Whole wheat flour, sugar, dehydrated apples, walnuts, egg, whey, butter powder (butter, buttermilk, natural flavor), baking powder (no alum), cinnamon, lemon powder (corn syrup, lemon juice solids, lemon oil), lemon peel, nutmeg, baking powder.

| Preparation: |
1. Blend each cake mix with ½ cup of cold water.
2. Spread this mixture into a well greased pan (Harvest Vegetable Shortening is handy for this), cover and cook over a low heat, lifting frequently to avoid burning. (Slow cooking is the key to producing the best result).
Note: The blended cake mix may also be cooked in a reflector oven, or by wrapping in foil and cooking in hot coals.
